This attraction opened April 10, 1999. Located at The Mercado in the heart of Orlando's tourist district. "Titanic ~ Ship of Dreams" takes visitors aboard the historic maiden voyage of the British luxury liner Titanic enroute to its tragic destiny in the North Atlantic. Guests experience the mesmerizing drama of Titanic's voyage as it unfolds through the application of cutting-edge technology, scenic environments and the only full-scale recreations of actual passenger cabins ever exhibited. This attraction displays priceless artifacts and historic treasures from some of the most prestigious private collections in the world, many on public display for the first time. Also displayed is a costume worn by Leonardo DiCaprio in the Oscar-winning motion picture, "Titanic", along with original movie memorabilia from such classic films as "A Night to Remember".
