The legendary Sahara Hotel & Casino is located at the North end of the Strip near the Stratosphere. The Sahara opened in the early 1950s and almost every major star since then has either performed or been a guest there.
The hotel consists of more than 1700 rooms and suites and offers some wonderful dining options including NASCAR Cafe.
The Sahara Casino is over 85000 sq. feet of the hottest and most up-to-date slots, including ticket in and out. But if table games, Race & Sports Book, Poker Rooms or Keno are more your taste then you'll be more than satisfied here.
Sahara is definitely an old Las Vegas classic and, with that said, is starting to show its age as compared to the newer hotel/casinos although it has recently went through some renovations. That doesn't mean that the Sahara isn't still wonderful. Personally I like a little nostalgia and I hope they don't change too much.
