Have you ever wanted to take a safari but couldn't afford it? Here's your chance to feel like you're visiting the savannahs of Africa. Look out your window to see giraffes, zebras, and other exotic animals. But that doesn't mean that everything good about this resort is located outside
There are beautiful handcrafted furnishings and African masks and artwork on almost every wall. This is one of the higher priced resorts but well worth it. It also features two restaurants: Jiko-The Cooking Place offering New African cuisine prepared by chefs borrowing from the culture and flavors of Europe, India, and Asia and Boma-Flavors of Africa where you can watch as they prepare stews and soups, grilled seafood, roasted meats, vegetarian dishes and salads in the open-air kitchen
There is also the Zahanati Fitness Center featuring massage, facial, and body treatments, a full range of strength and cardio equipment, personal training by appointment, and ladies and mens steam rooms and saunas. The resort has a heated themed outdoor swimming pool with slide, kiddie pool, two spas and poolside savannah viewing areas, a high-tech game room, and a playground.
