There are two different tours offered at KSC. The Maximum Access Tour takes guests to the LC-39 Observation Gantry, the Apollo/Saturn V Center and the International Space Station Center. The other tour (and well worth the extra money) is the Then and Now Tour. It takes guests to see launch pads from the Gemini and Mercury era. Guests can actually stand on the sight of the Apollo 1 disaster among other historical sights as well as the facilities offered in the Maximum Access Tour. All guests have the opportunity to meet a real astronaut at the Astronaut Encounter, and see some of the best and most inspiring IMAX movies I’ve ever seen.
